TDR Live: Bye Bye, Don Don

The Damage Report host John Iadarola is joined by Brett Erlich, host of TYT’s Happy Half Hour, to break down Friday’s top stories.

Joe Biden now leads Donald Trump in Georgia and Pennsylvania. As a Biden win becomes more and more likely, Trump loses it on Twitter. A memo obtained by CNN shows Fox News is instructing its anchors not to call Joe Biden the “President-elect” when the network calls the race. Two men in Philadelphia were arrested late Thursday after police received a tip that they were making threats against the center where mail-in votes are being counted. Greta Thunberg gets the last word in her Twitter exchange with the president. Election day saw wins for progressive policies across the country. Exit polls show the Lincoln Project and other efforts to recruit “Biden Republicans” had little effect on turning out former Trump voters for Biden. It’s time to take out the trash! Find out who John, Brett and you (yes, you!) picked as the Garbage Person of the week.

"President Donald Trump has struggled to convince the country he already won the election. So he’s just going to do the next best thing: Act like he’s starting his second term early.

Trump and his aides have settled on a plan for him to take full advantage of his existing perch at the White House to look as presidential as possible, according to three people briefed on the strategy. He may fire a few Cabinet members and top aides, including FBI Director Christopher Wray and Defense Secretary Mark Esper. He could sign a slew of base-pleasing executive orders. He might even resume his travel schedule. Meanwhile, Trump’s team is planning to mount even more legal challenges and cast evidence-deficient aspersions on the integrity of ballots."
