Philippine Foreign Secretary Locsin on Tensions in South China Sea

May.12 — Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s top diplomat says China has deployed more ships in a disputed area of the South China Sea even after the Southeast Asian nation’s repeated protests. Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin pledges to take up the issue with his Chinese counterpart. In an exclusive interview, Locsin also says the Philippines will not give up its sea claims even as it seeks to cooperate with China on energy and vaccines. (Map in the video and thumbnail updated)
