U.K. Summons China Envoy, Declares H.K. Treaty Breach

Nov.12 — The already strained relations between the U.K. and China have taken another turn lower as the U.K. summoned the Chinese ambassador to protest the latest crackdown on Hong Kong. Canada, in the meantime, has offered new work permits to young and educated Hong Kong citizens who might want to leave the city. Bloomberg’s Stephen Engle reports on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia.”
