President Donald Trump, who famously hung up on Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull during a protocol-shattering phone call just a week after taking office, will give the red-carpet treatment to Turnbull’s successor, Scott Morrison, at the White House on Friday.
Yesterday, President Donald Trump denied making an improper promise to an unnamed foreign leader. Saying “many people” within the government have access to his conversations with international counterparts, Trump tweeted, “Is anybody dumb enough to believe that I would say something inappropriate with a foreign leader while on such a potentially ‘heavily populated’ call.”
